The SUSTAIN-E Summer School will be back for a second edition from June 15th to 19th 2026 in Grenoble, France!

SUSTAIN-E (SUmmer School on susTAINable Electronics) introduces the sustainability challenges in electronics and covers innovation and advancements in microelectronics, power electronics and PCB production and more.

Through conferences and panels with experts, the program will cover circular design, eco-design methods, raw materials, recycling and the R-strategies. Participants will also explore low-tech and frugal design, resilient ICT systems, and the geopolitical and regulatory landscape of greener electronics. 

Registration to the Summer School is open exclusively for accepted candidates.

Candidate’s profile: Master students (M2), PhD students, professionals (academic, industrial).

• Submission of the application: from January 26th to March 22nd 2026 (deadline extended)
• Notification of acceptation: March 13th 2026 March 24th 2026
• Registration period for accepted candidates: March 13th - April 13th 2026 March 24rd - April 19th
• Summer School: from June 15th to June 19th 2026

Registration is free but subject to approval through the application process.

There is a limited number of 65 attendees. Priority will be given to candidates from the EU or affiliated with an institution located in the EU.

Attendees are responsible for their travel and accomodation.
